Safeport acquires new ground transport vehicles

Safeport strengthened its ground transportation fleet with the introduction of six brand new vehicles. The new assets will be mainly used to transport passengers, crews, and baggage.

The company acquired three Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPVs, which will be made available at Lisbon Airport (two units) and Oporto Airport (one unit). These luxurious vehicles, acknowledged by their extreme comfort levels, will be used to transport passengers and crew personnel.

The strengthening of the fleet also comprised the purchase of three Fiat Scudo light vans, which will be place at Safeport’s handling units in Cascais, Oporto and Faro. These highly versatile professional vehicles will be used for several purposes: crew transportation, baggage transportation and towing of ground handling equipment (GSE).
